Little Gems Academy and Childcare is a State Licensed facility and is also a certified Early Childhood Education site. Most recently the Academy was proud to be accepted as a participant in the Delaware Stars for Early Success program which is a a five level Quality Rating System for improved quality standards in childcare. The Academy is currently at Level II and constantly works to meet the increasingly higher standards in the categories of Qualifications and Professionalism, Development, Learning Environment and Curriculum, Family and Community Partnerships and Management and Administration.

 

The Academy prides itself on making sure that each child receives nurturing, education, inspiration and encouragement to develop in their own unique way.

 

Learning is considered hard work for children at any age and stage of their development but we make it fun. Each accomplishment is a big milestone for them. We coach them through each transitional phase with caution, love and fun so that each milestone can be reached without fear.
